The famous comedian/political satirist/television star Bill Maher comes to the intimate Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater Sunday, January 24th, 2016 / 8PM. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 23 at 10AM.

 

Bill Maher has set the boundaries of where funny, political talk can go on American Television. He started first on Politically Incorrect and for the last 12 years on HBO’s Real Time. Maher’s combination of unflinching honesty and big laughs have garnered him 23 Emmy nominations. Maher began his career as a stand-up comedian and still performs more than 60 dates a year in sold out venues across the country. He has done 10 stand-up specials for HBO, some of which have also been nominated for Emmys, with his latest being the hilarious and highly rated Bill Maher Live from DC..

Clifford Cunningham

Dr. Clifford Cunningham is a planetary scientist. He earned his PhD in the history of astronomy at the University of Southern Queensland, and has undergraduate degrees in science and ancient history from the University of Waterloo. In 2014 he was named a contributor to Encyclopedia Britannica. He is the author of 14 books on asteroids and the history of science. In 1999 he appeared on the TV show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Asteroid 4276 was named in his honor in 1990 by the International Astronomical Union based on the recommendation of its bureau located at Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
